Not really a camera issue, but I add it here anyway.
I changed the audio stream a bit. Now the artificial voice (created with
Flite on linux) is encoded straight from the computer, instead of playing it on a speaker and then recording it back on the mic. This should improve understandability (what a word...

)
I also changed the mic. Now there's a stereo microphone, before it was the mic built in a Logitech QuickCam 3000. The stream is encoded stereo - tell me if it makes a difference.
The encoding is now done with
MuSE on a linux machine, before it was a old WinAmp plugin running on a windows computer.

Two things fixed that were waiting a long time:
- direct encoding of the voice
- linux based mp3 stream
- updated to the lastest
icecast server
