First I expected a hardware problem - after all the parts used are ~13 years old.Later I found out that with the server upgrade, support for the parallel port was not loaded.Adding the lp module to this OpenSUSE 11.4 server solved the problem. Testing revealed that the truck is reversing much too fast, unloading all blocks before moving them up to the tipper.I changed the script to reverse slower -> loading the truck should now be easier than before.

Construction started - improved documentation

Construction on the empty lot has started on march 21st 2011.I have added a few features to this site to document the changes.- Aerial Panorama of the area before construction started (360°/180°), taken with the MikroKopter- Improved daily panorama with a 304°/50° view from TrackCam- Daily Construction Area image, 4800x1500 with Flash ViewerAll images were stitched with Hugin, the flash viewer used is krpano.

Herr Pitts Special 30" w/0.010 Nitro Engine

I have been building a Pitts Special biplane for several years now and it is ready for flight except for I have yet to purchase a license to fly it.The plane is a Herr brand Pitts Special which is designed originally for a .061-.074 engine, however later revisions were made to power it with a 0.010-0.015 engine. I opted for the OS 0.010 LA Blue engine which will more than over power the small 30" wing span.I am fearful of my first flight being as I have never even flown a trainer before. I would like to have someone fly it for me honestly for the first flight at least. What does everyone think? Will I be able to equip this plane with a small camera (still or video) or is it simply too small?

MikroKopter

having bought the kit for the MikroKopter more than a year ago, I finally found time to work on it a bit more.Today I checked my work so far:- all motors are working fine- communication to the computer worksSee short video of the tests

Audio and Chat fixed

During this week I have fixed two WebTruck Services which have been broken for quite a while due to an OS upgrade:- Chat reporter is active again. There is no hurry.
