Hi,
I'd like to buy and install webcam such as TrackCam. My basic requirements are that I have to be able to control this camera using some API (I'd like to create similar web application and enable users to control it remotely using WWW).
What camera providers should I consider and where to buy such cam (EU or US)?
Please advise,

Hello bielu,
cameras like TrackCam are quite expensive - you find them on the Axis, Sony and Panasonic websites.
Other IP cameras with a more limited feature set (no optical zoom, smaller TP range) can be found from various manufacturers, eg. LevelOne.
I don't know where you're located - I bought the camera dome from SeeTec - they have company sites in Germany and Switzerland and offer fair prices.
I bought TrackCam on Ebay from Canada - I was lucky it was a good deal  |
