I have a new device which is a candidate to go online: a RobotArm.
See pictures of the device while we build it together and test
The device has 5 DC motors (gripper, wrist, elbow, shoulder and base), but no electric feedback about position.
The crane had just 3 DC motors and the same non existant feedback - which lead to its end...
I still consider putting this online, maybe detecting the output current could prevent damage.

That is what I bought it for. But I think I will first put a new version of the truck online - the arm will have to wait.
Any suggestions how to set it up? Build towers with blocks? Empty the truck dump box?

i Think build towers with blocks is good idea, who will buid a higher tower, you should make smaller blocks to be fun to control it

If you are looking for a possible replacement
http://www.crustcrawler.com/products/smartarm/index.php?prod=12
I caught a review of the arm in www.botmag.com
you could use it to empty the truck box or some type of stacking game.
