Flying the IXUS 100IS for the first time

Bought an IXUS 100IS to take aerial pictures.
I chose this camera for the following reasons:

Small and light
Supported by CHDK (although pre-alpha), which makes scripting possible
AV out
HD video

As for previous cameras, I built a little case out of computer shipping material to protect the camera:

and here are a few minutes of the video recorded
The vibrations show clearly - this was to be expected. I had the cameras image stabilization off, wonder if this would have improved the video. Will have to test.
