Hacker B40 motor test

Having resolved the problem of how to attach the prop to the new motor, I did some tests.

Video ( 37s 640x480 12.8MB ) although attached firmly, the plane almost flew away during this test
Video ( 21s 640x480 7.5MB ) see how the pure power is twisting the motor mount - the motor is fixed on the plane using 2x 6mm carbon fibre sticks, quite massive, and still it looks like this
I measured how much thrust I get, and it's around 20N - with the plane's weight about 1.8kg (with battery, but no cargo), I expect it to be able to climb quite well
