Rokenbook

Do we want more ROKENBOK items on the WebTruck site?

I had contacts with the rokenbok company and asked them to sponsor a complete startup kit to put wireless trucks on this site. Up to eight drivers could drive at the same time.
This is the answer I got:
Dear Mr. Seiz,

As you can understand, we are also very busy focusing on our core business
generation measures and are therefore not prepared to take on this kind
of project at this time.

Good luck with your efforts.

I think they are missing an opportunity to promote their products.

I think they're fools for not taking you up on the offer to broaden their own technology. They're just shootin' themselves in the foot. My opinion.

I yhink that you used alot of money and you buyed from the same company. They shoud GIVE you money for the project.

I think that this is a great way for rokenbok to publisise there trucks. On this website I have seen the truck for the first time(in action)and i've had a great interest in getting one myself since then. If I ever save enough I plan on getting one.

Sorry but those guys are really dumb, you've gpt a fantastic idea and they could be the first to offer a line of web ready remote controled trucks with live video feed, If I had the money I would sponsor you myself

The times I played with WebTruck I was never bothered by other people wanting to play at the same time. So I really do not see much sense in playing as many as eight players simultaneously. Of course, if the group of players would increase strongly, a need for playing with some players at the same time also increase. Kind regards, tom thalhammer

I also think that they are missing a good opportunity to promote their buisness.I can see no reason why they would not take up the project.

I think with the donation of the rokenbok products, combined with the ability to garner media support for something that is truly unique, the effort would be repaid 100 fold to all who participate, through a large increase in web traffic to the site and through the increased purchase of the products presented. good luck with your endevour Bill Appling Mobile, Alabama, USA

To whom it may concern, The Webtruck site has promoted an international audience to interact on other things besides the obvious entertainment value of driving one of your quality products from a remote location. The site has become an interactive icon for hundreds of users. An example of the value is as follows. I am a Volunteer Firefighter in my community, our dept. participates in a free smoke detector program for citizens that need them. Through this website I've made contact with other Public Safety professionals (international),and have introduced them to our program. Who knows we may have saved countless lives! Any help your company can give to improve the site will expound on this interactivity. Thank You for your support

I think that you could find other companys to donate thier products, if they are not willing to support this site. You could aproach them with the figure you have on number of hits and maybe even add a link to sell that product on line.

Hi Stefan, I think the idea to add to the infrastructure and include additional vehicles is a great idea. Thanks for your recent email news bulletin and please keep me on the drivers list. I look forward to hearing what result your efforts will have. Sincerely, Garret Otis Ehrle

Find brothers to keep Truckky company? I'd love that..! Hey, wireless controlled trucks would eliminate tangled cables! Two wee trucks would be enough to start with, maybe..? let us not be greedy to start with. A big toy firm might be skeptical to start with. Mind you, many who log on are English-speaking, as far as I can make out... I've never heard of Rokenbok before now, but out of curiousity, I intend to see if I can find a Rokenbok truck in a typical British highstreet. If they are missing out on the English speaking market, this would be a good way for them to promote themselves.! : )

I think this webcam is the best on the web, and should be sponsored with material.

I think that they should give you them or let you buy them for a good price. You could make a contract that said that you would put logo stickers on the car. This is a good thing that could promote them into very good buisness.

I'm sure rockenbok would be well served being a sponsor especially concidering how little of the companys resources it would require. I truly enjoyed my time behind the wheel. It was a memorable experence. Listen up! "Rockenbok", Talk about cost effective!
